Summary

Head of Tech and Product at Founderplus, with 6+ years of hands-on engineering underneath the title. Runs product and engineering as one small team: Shape Up six-week cycles on a multi-tenant e-learning platform, with agents (MCP servers, internal agents) taking the routine work so the team ships beyond its headcount. Deep background in Growth Engineering (growth loops, activation funnels, +511% GSC impressions) and performance engineering (85% faster loads, 75% smaller bundles). Still reads the code before filing the ticket.

How I Work

I come from the Shape Up school: six-week cycles, fixed time, variable scope, and the 37signals habit of trusting running software over perfect plans. The team stays small on purpose. Profit over growth, 40-hour weeks, ship the working version and iterate. Building used to be the slow part of the job. With agents, the slow part is taste: deciding which ideas deserve a six-week bet and which get a clear no. And I do my own sales: I push what we ship through my network, demo it hands-on, and over-communicate the product until it sticks.

Advisory

I take a small number of advisory engagements, one at a time, through Founderplus or independently, and only in the four areas below: the ones I am running in production right now.

Shape Up Delivery

For founders and small teams where product and engineering are the same handful of people. I install Shape Up and run the cycles with you: six weeks, fixed time, variable scope, and an appetite written down before anyone opens an editor. This is delivery work rather than an executive seat. I am in the shaping, at the betting table, and in the pull requests. At Founderplus that moved delivery from roughly three months to one week, across a small engineering team serving five operating divisions. Cut the scope on day one, not on day forty.

Agentic AI Adoption

Most teams are stuck at a few open ChatGPT tabs and a vague sense of guilt. The work is turning that into agents that hold an actual job: MCP servers wired into the real systems, agent workflows with permissions and audit trails, and enough training that your own engineers build the next one without me. At Founderplus that meant an internal MCP server grown from about 30 mapped legacy routes to 66+ tools, a 20-session agentic course for the team, and agents that now take first-line support questions and server-log triage off engineers' desks. The models are the cheap part. Deciding which work to hand over is not.

Forward Deployed Engineering

For businesses where the agent demo went well and the daily operation did not change: MIT found roughly 95% of enterprise GenAI pilots end there, and what fails is the integration, not the model. So I run this one the way a forward deployed engineer works: embedded in short sprints with the people who run the process every day, learning the workflow as it actually runs rather than its slide version, then building and deploying the agents into it myself. At Founderplus that is how Monetiz is being built: a commerce engine where agents run selling end to end, from guest checkout to server-side conversion tracking. The gap between a demo and a system in daily use has never been closed from outside the room.

Growth Engineering and SEO

For teams whose site is technically fine and commercially quiet. I work the whole path: programmatic SEO and schema, server-side conversion tracking (GA4, Meta, TikTok) that survives ad blockers and iOS, and performance work down at the bundle and image level. Numbers from this work: GSC impressions up 511%, 85% faster loads, a React bundle from 2MB to 500KB, Lighthouse 100. Getting the traffic is the easy half. Proving it turned into money is the rest of the job.

Most advisors bring a framework. I bring the codebase I am still working in on Monday, and if I have not shipped something myself, I will say so before you pay for the opinion.

If one of these is what you are stuck on, email ibrahim@sarbeh.com with the problem and your deadline. I answer within a couple of days, including the answer that it is not a fit.

Experience

Head of Tech and Product

Founderplus · Jakarta (Hybrid)

  • Own tech and product end to end at Founderplus: founderplus.id, Founderplus Academy (a multi-tenant e-learning platform), analytics tooling, and infrastructure; run the 2026 roadmap as six-week Shape Up cycles with a small engineering team serving 5 operating divisions
  • Shipping Monetiz, an agentic-first commerce core engine where AI agents run selling end to end: guest checkout, coupons + affiliate, landing-page hosting, and server-side conversion tracking (Meta/TikTok/GA4) on Cloudflare Workers
  • Directed the company's shift to agentic systems: admin-mcp, an internal MCP server grown from ~30 mapped legacy routes to 66+ tools AI agents use to run admin operations (OAuth + PKCE, Stripe-style idempotency keys)
  • Reframed AI use from throughput to protection: agents handle first-line support questions and server-log triage, so engineers keep their deep-work blocks for architecture
  • Built the internal capability pipeline: a 20-session Agentic AI course, wiki-first knowledge base, and 3-week mentoring tracks that move engineers from frontend work into agentic infrastructure
